PG-557 is a 40 mil (0.040in or 1.0mm) matte white high-impact polystyrene HIPS sheet. High impact polystyrene (HIPS) is one of the most versatile thermoplastic materials, and can be formed, die-cut, fabricated, and printed. PG-557 is a lightweight, cost-effective plastic sheet designed for screen-printed applications, and it has the benefits of having impact strength, heat resistance, is machinable, cost-effective, and thermoformable. This product can be used in screen printing and UV-curable printing. Printing on it produces a sharp, vibrant image designed to last. Common applications for PG-557 include: indoor signage and displays, retail and shelf signage, hanging or wall-mounted signs, directional signage for lobbies, malls, and events, die-cut or routed graphics, menu boards, sales kits, thermoformed packaging or trays, reusable templates or stencils, crafts and projects, classroom displays, and POP/retail displays. Not recommended for prolonged outdoor use.
