PG-586 is a 0.220in (5.6mm) gloss gray tint polycarbonate sheet. Polycarbonate is sometimes referred to by one of its common brand names: Lexan®, Tuffak®, Monogal®, or Makrolon®. Common applications for gray tint 0.220†polycarbonate include: security glazing, vandal-resistant windows, overhead glazing, sunshades, awnings, skylights, RV, UTV, and golf cart windows, architectural panels, privacy screens, motorcycles/boat windshields, display cases, and retail protection panels. Its shatter resistant material can be cut and drilled with standard tools without the risk of cracking. As a better insulator than glass, polycarbonate can help to lower energy costs. Please note that the 0.220†thickness is not intended for certain applications where extreme force will be applied to the polycarbonate. To ensure desired results when using this product, research what thickness would be appropriate to suit your needs.
