PG-542 is an 8.0mil gloss white translucent backlit polyester film. Printing on this product will produce soft color gradients with high resolution as well as excellent contour definition. PG-542 offers a high level of color saturation allowing for wider colors combined with very deep blacks along with an even diffusion of light. The translucent polyester film with a gloss microporous coating is perfect for backlit application. PG-542 is also waterproof, dries instantly, and has a sharp expression of details due to its microporous coating. This product can be used in aqueous (pigment and dye), latex, and UV-curable wide format digital printing. Common applications for PG-542 include: lightbox advertising, illuminated displays, trade show and exhibition graphics and signage, and some special backlit applications including but not limited to: cosmetics, fashion images, airport advertising, and any applications requiring great image representation. Lamination is optional for this product. Should you choose to laminate PG-542, we recommend either PG-004, PG-104, or PG-204. . Please note that when printing, it is recommended to take into account that enlarging the image may help image quality as the microporous coating expresses even the delicate details. When using black ink, we recommend you use photo black (PK) not matte black.
